Anna M. "Ann" (Nowading) Harvey

 Anna M. “Ann” Harvey, 98, Richland, died August 12, 2017, at Arbutus Park Manor.  She was born April 3, 1919, in Austria, daughter of Carl and Anna Nowading, and also preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Harvey, in 1982, and siblings Michael, Carl, Mary and John.  She was the last of her generation, being survived by daughters, LeeAnn M. Kelly (Thomas), Sharon L. Patti (Joseph), and Judy Treece (Frank); and grandchildren David M. Kelly, Daniel T. Kelly, Timothy W. Kelly, Christina Ann Dzierba, Dr. Joseph M. Patti and Todd Patti; and 11 great grandchildren.  Ann and her husband were the owners of the former Richland Greenhouse, and she was an avid duckpin bowler and was the Women’s City Champion, and was a member of the Windber Order of the Eastern Star #143 several years, and because of her enjoyment of archery, she was a member of Flood City Bowman.  She also was a faithful member of Homestead United Methodist Church, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, Rev. Ed Wagner officiating.  Interment will be in Richland Cemetery.  At Ann’s request, there will be no public visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arbutus Park Manor, or the Cambria County Humane Society in Ann’s memory.
