James E. Corrigan, , 74, Westmont, died March 9, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center, after courageously battling illness for the past 18 months. He was born September 24, 1943, in Detroit, son of the late James J. and Agnes (McDermott) Corrigan, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Mariann Corrigan. He is survived by his loving wife, the former Donna Owens, who he wed March 31, 1984; daughter, Erin, son, Brian, both of Pittsburgh; and son, Sean, and granddaughter, Rebecca, Perrysville, OH; and other supportive family members, and friends especially Beverly and Rich. Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an auto salesperson for many local Ford dealers and will be missed by his friends and customers. He enjoyed all sports, especially if it included Notre Dame, playing golf, reading and time spent with his family. Jim was a loyal, faithful and diligent member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where his funeral mass will be held Wednesday, at 10:00 AM, the Very Rev. James Crookston officiating. Interment Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-7 PM, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown.
