Jane (O'Neill) Ringler

Jane Ringler, 100, Upper Yoder Twp., died April 20, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.  She was born April 11, 1917, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Brandler) O’Neill. Preceded in death by husband, Sheldon E. Ringler in 2007; daughter, Barbara R. Mannion; brothers, Edward, Richard and John O’Neill. Survived by daughter, Patricia R. married to Dennis J. Hogan, Great Barrington, MA; son, Michael D. Ringler married to the former Keri T. Koop, Stoystown and son-in-law, Michael Mannion; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Jane was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was an avid bridge player and excellent cook. There was always room for one more at her table.  The family was happy to gather recently in celebration of Jane’s 100th birthday. They would also like to thank the staff of the Allegheny Lutheran Home for their loving care and to her St. Clement parish family for their many thoughts and prayers. Friends will be received from 2 PM until time of funeral service at 4 PM, Monday, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. The Rev. William E. Rosenbaum officiating.
