J'lon Lee Thompson

 J’lon L. Thompson, 28, of Johnstown died September 17, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born May 13, 1989, son of Matthew and Jackie (Barnette) Thompson.  Preceded in death by grandfather Matthew Thompson, grandmother Eloise Barnette, uncles William and Collie Barnette and cousin Robert Barnette, Jr.  Survived by parents, brother, Keenan Barnette and his daughter Raegan, sister, LaPree Thompson and her children Sa’Veon, Areia, Christanio and Antonio.  Also survived by grandmother Gersilee Thompson, aunt Sharlene Barnette, Uncle Robert Barnette, Sr., and girlfriend Kylee, and many aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and friends, and especially his special cousin , Shaiqa, and closest friends, Jimmy Miller, Cassandra and Calvin.  J’lon loved cutting hair, and people, especially children.  He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.  Friends will be received at the church from noon until time of memorial service at 1 PM on Friday, Rev.
