Joan “Tootie” Kelly, 81, Johnstown, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 19, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 27, 1936, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Kasper) Civis. Also preceded in death by in-laws, James & Agatha Kelly, siblings, Elly, Rosie, Slim, Bobby, Dickie and her best friend Betty Baldwin. Survived by loving husband of 61 years, Matthew Kelly; children, Chris Havrilak (Rich), Lititz, PA; Tim Kelly, Raleigh, NC; Paula Gojmerac (Chris); Julie Muha, and Jamie Weaver (B.J.). Also survived by her grandchildren who were the loves of her life, Elyse Cameron (Justin); Nathan Havrilak, Melanie Muha, Wyatt Weaver; great granddaughter Rylee Cameron; and her brother Jack Civis (Pat), and sister Jeannie Kunkle, Tampa, FL. Tootie was proud to call her neighborhood of Kernville her home for 65 years. She selflessly dedicated the last 23 years of her life to taking care of her angel on earth, daughter Julie. She worked for more than 40 years at the War Memorial Arena and the Point Stadium and enjoyed shopping and people watching. Toots/Mum will be forever loved and forever missed. Friends will be received from 3-7 PM Wednesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., where funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, Very Rev. James Crookston. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
