Maribeth (Thomas) Yuhas

Maribeth Yuhas, 65, Johnstown, died September 24, 2016.  She was born November 17, 1950, in Windber, daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Kadar) Thomas, and also preceded in death by her husband, Sandor Yuhas, in 2007.  She is survived by children, Justin Reitz and wife, Angie, Hagerstown, MD, and Courtney McDermott, and husband Bryan, and their son Jack, Johnstown; sister, Kathy Noll, and husband, Dave, Bedford; and brother Mike Thomas, and wife Debbie, Windber; nieces, Amy Rocco and Christi Ciampaglione and nephews, Mike Thomas and Jason Thomas; special friends, Ed Gladys, Alexis and Dave Kozak, Judy, Richard and Kelly McDermott, David McDermott and Ethel Bernat; and animal friends Maggie, Pipi and Gracie.  Maribeth was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, and where Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday at 10:00 AM, Very Rev. Mark Begly officiating.  Friends will be received from 5-7 PM Monday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
