Mary C. (Saydak) Kabler

Mary C. Kabler, 95, Johnstown, died January 10, 2017 at The Church of The Brethren Home, Windber.  She was born July 14, 1921 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Andrew and Christine (Klanduch) Saydak.  Preceded in death by 1st husband, Joseph Jeschonek; 2nd husband, Charles Kabler; infant brother, Adam Saydak; sisters, Ethel Friedman Eleanor Theys, Irene Shaffer and Betty Ickes.  Survived by sister, Evelyn Harris, Russell, PA.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Mary was employed by Kay Artley for 15 years and retired from the Department of Public Welfare after 15 years of service. She was a member of Johnstown Senior Citizens and NARFE.  Mary was also a member of First Lutheran Church,  415 Vine Street, Johnstown, where friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM, Friday.   Rev. Robert Kaltenbaugh officiating. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
