Nancy L. (Krupka) Walters

Nancy L. Walters, 73, Upper Yoder Township, died September 29, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center.  She was born February 10, 1943 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late, Carl and Edna (Dratrinsky) Krupka. Preceded in death by husband of 33 years, Donald L. Walters, in 2009; brother, Donald Krupka, sister, Mary Ann Steen and her husband, Steven, sister-in-law,  Marcia Parks, brother-in-laws, George Walters and Theodore Bachik.  Survived by daughter, Stephanie, married to James Garrett, Jr. and son, Corey, and girlfriend, Amy Pleskovic and her daughter, Emily and grandchildren, Jackson and Ryan Garrett and sister, Betty Lou Bachik.  Also survived by sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Judy Walters, John Parks and Sam and Emily Hudspeth and many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. Nancy enjoyed attending basket parties.  Nancy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Monday. The Rev. Michael Van Dyke officiating.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Sunday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.  Interment Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Nancy’s memory.
