Paul C. “Butch” DePola, 66, Johnstown, died July 21, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.  He was born April 8, 1951, in Carlisle, son of the late Michael P. and Catherine A. (Moore) DePola.  Preceded in death by brother Perry B., father-in-law Lester W. Sanders, stepfather-in-law, Edward A. Yingling, brothers-in-law, James L., and Michael L. Sanders, and stepbrother-in-law, Greg Yingling..  Survived by loving wife of 38 years,, the former Kathleen Sanders; sisters, Toni R. Hackwelder (Phillip), Davidsville and niece & nephew, Nicole and Joseph; Tina L. Jenkins, Windber, and fiancé Tom Walker, and nephew Michael; and late brother Michael’s wife Tammy and nieces and nephew , Michael, Chrissy, and Brittany.  Paul is also survived by these in-law’s; mother, Cecelia (Sanders) Yingling; sisters-in-law, Mary Rodriguez (Troy), Georgetown, TX, nieces and nephew, Rebecca, Amanda and Kenny; Laurie Snyder, nephew, Nicholas; brothers-in-law, Richard A. Sanders (Janet), Boswell, niece and nephew, CJ and Richard, Jr; and William Sanders (Roxanne), Portage, IN, and nieces and nephew, Josh, Amber and Ashley. Paul served in the Navy during Viet Nam, he then enlisted in the National Guard, serving a total of 28 years.  He was first employed by Island Creek Coal Co. and then W.C. McQuaide, Co. for more than 30 years.  He enjoyed hunting, his HAM radio, family gatherings, and especially his furry friend, Sadie.  Paul was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where the Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, Fr. Clarence Bridges officiating.  Entombment Grandview Mausoleum, where military rites will be held by Conemaugh Valley Detachment #287, Marine Corps League.  Friends will be received from 3-8 PM Tuesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.
