Richard McAchren Obituary

Richard L.McAchren, 85, Johnstown, died March 4, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 27, 1932 in Johnstown, son of the late Frank and Vera (O’Neill) McAchren. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Dorothy J. Wissinger and sister Mary Louise Uland. Survived by son Jon, married to the former Donna Dietz, grandson Roman, and brother John. Veteran of U.S. Army serving in Korea. Retired maintenance worker for Greater Johnstown School District. Richard was a very sociable person who enjoyed people. At his request there will be no visitation. Graveside service will be held at Grandview Mausoleum at 1:30 PM on Wednesday.
