Betty Glosser Black, 96, Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Johnstown, died July 4, 2018. Born August 7, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter of the late David & Sylvia (Sachs) Glosser. Preceded in death by husband, Leonard J. Black. Survived by daughters, Jodie Black, and Susan(Steven) Eiseman; grandchildren Jamie(John) Pawling, Michael(Anj) Lichtenstein, Robin(Michael Mirarchi) Eiseman, Katie(Andrew) Sonnabend, and Eric(Ali)Eiseman, and great-grandchildren, Alex & Leah Sonnabend, Ben & John Pawling, Nikhil & Avi Lichtenstein, Olivia & Jake Eiseman, and Drew Mirarchi; and siblings, Paul(Rita)Glosser and Doris Rudolph. Betty served on the board of University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She was a member of Sunnehanna Country Club, and a volunteer at Memorial Hospital and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd., Rabbi Irvin Brandwein, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
