Billie Doreen Hill

Billie Doreen daughter of the late Mary Katherine Williams ( 1 ) and Edward Frank Williams (Sr).  Billie D. was born September 29, 1948 in Johnstown, Pa.  Billie entered eternal life December 27, 2019 in Pitts., Pa. in her apartment that she shared with her husband, Joseph.

Dodie as she was affectionately called by family and friends was educated in the public schools systems of Johnstown, PA and Cleveland, Ohio.

 Dodie chose to work in the medical field. She earned her certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

 Dodie enjoyed working in a field where she felt like she made a difference in a persons life.

 Dodie loved working with Geriatric patients and young children.

 Dodie would work at long term care facilities and many private duty cases.

 On September 15, 2015 Billie D. was united in Holy Matrimony with Joseph Hill in Pitts., PA

 Dodie's favorite pastimes were attending Church, reading her Bible. She would also enjoy reading a good crime novel, and to watch classic movies.

 Dodie was also an excellent cook, she insisted on cooking every thing from " SCRATCH ".  She would frequently share her meals with the needy. Dodie was really a kind hearted spirit.

 Dodie never had children of her own. My daughter Mary K. ( Kathy ) 11 her niece and our sister Betty Ann's son Douglas Edward Williams, also her great nephew Jacques' Cameron   Williams. Those were like her very own children.

 Dodie was predeceased by parents Mary Katherine Williams (1) and Edward Frank Williams (Sr) and sister Betty Ann Williams, and brother Edward Frank Williams (Jr.) and brother Charles Rufus (Gary) Wilson.

Dodie leaves to cherish her memory, husband Joseph Hill - Pitts., PA., brother George W. ( Butchie) Wilson - Holiday, FL., First Cousin - (Sister)- Ruth Ann Wilson - Holiday, FL., sister Jacquelyn Williams - Brooklyn, NY, niece Mary Katherine ( Kathy ) Williams (11) Manhattan, NY, great nephew Jacques' Cameron Williams, Manhattan, NY, Nephew, Douglas Edward Williams and family - Chicago, IL., Aunt Betty L. Boykin and family - Euclid, OH, Sister-In-Law, Josephine ( Jo- Jo ) Watkins- Williams, niece - Simone Williams, Newcastle, De., First Cousin (Sister) Cecelia Perry - Odum and family, Ft. Washington, Ma., Big Brother, Dwight Roache', Cleveland, OH

Friends will be received on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM, Rev. Sylvia King officiating. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
