David L. Anderson

David L. Anderson, 92, Mars, formerly of Johnstown, died December 9, 2019.  Born December 22, 1926, in Johnstown, son of the late Charles C. and Susan B. (Beynon) Anderson. He was also preceded in death by wife the former Jean Engelbach in 2015, brother C. William Anderson and sister Mary Jane Horner.   Survived by son David L, Jr., (Suzanne), Harrison City, PA; daughters Michele O’Connor (Dennis), Bluffton, SC; Sheryl Treece (Richard), James Creek; and Kathleen Yarnick (Thomas), Mars.  Also 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  David was a WWII veteran of the US Navy.  David was a retired mail carrier and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 451 and National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and a former member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive Extension, Johnstown, PA  15904 and at http://www.cambriacountyhumanesociety.com.  At Dave’s request, all services will be private.  Interment Richland Cemetery.
