Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your loved one, and Johnstown’s loved one. Sometimes we say “Oh he lived a good long life”. However, no matter how long one lives, it is never long enough. Be assured of the keeping of this wonderful promise from God: “ The righteous will possess the earth and live forever on it.” “There IS going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 25:15) Imagine awakening to a righteous new world where death has been eliminated. Now this is the way God intended it to be from the start. His original purpose will be fulfilled. Please take heart in these beautiful promises.

To Holly and her extended family: My condolence for the loss of your father. His fame as a hockey star and his recognition and respect as a beloved family man and a humanitarian speak volumes to the personal loss felt by the lives he touched. You were blessed to have been among those closest to him, and the heavens are equally blessed now. Prayers for all of you at this time of sadness.

Jean and the extended Hall family. We are deeply saddened with the Jet's passing and for your loss. A gentlemen in the truest form. There are but a few in this world of his character, charm, integrity, spirit and love of life for all around him. We are so proud and so honored to have known him, to have our lives touched by him. Jet 9 will certainly be missed, but forever will be remembered.

At about age 8, my aunt introduced me to hockey. Instantly I was drawn to Don. What impressed me the most was his offensive play and lack of penalty minutes. I was there for "Don Hall Night" when I saw him skate around the ice with his son on his shoulders! In the fourth grade, I did a report on Don in front of the class and the teacher corrected me when I mispronounced the name of his daughter as "Hee-ther"! My aunt was a ssecretary to Mr. B. T. DuPont who was one of the stockholders of the Jets. She would tell me Don would often stop by their office and talk with Mr, DuPont. Don was part of the 9-10-11 line for the Jets. Don, Kenny Coombes and Dick Roberge. I believe Dick is now the surviving member of that very productive goal scoring line. Don was fantastic and I am so blessed to have been alive to watched him play. His memory, image and voice will be with me forever!
