Gayle A. (Berkebile) Tomak

Gayle A. Tomak, 81, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord February 9, 2019, surrounded by her family.  Born May 17, 1937, Johnstown, daughter of the late James and Mary Jane (Belihar) Berkebile.  Survived by her loving children Lori A. Tomak with whom she resided and was her primary caregiver, Philip and Toni (Cwik) Tomak, Jill (Tomak) and Richard Kelly, Amy (Tomak) and Scott Michaels; her grandchildren and their significant others, Autumn (Kelly) and Dustin Foskey, Zachary Kelly, Seth Michaels and Stephanie Ciraula, Kirsten Michaels and Donny Watters, James Tomak; and the long-awaited arrival of her beautiful gift to our family, her special great-granddaughter Abigail Jane Watters.  Gayle loved her family with all of her heart.  She will be missed and remembered immensely.  Gayle enjoyed social activities such as playing bingo, the PA lottery, casinos, and card games with family and friends alike.  Gayle worked for and retired from Bestform Foundations.  Gayle was a strong woman and would do anything to put a smile on everyone’s face.  Her personality illuminated any room she stepped foot into, even in her final moments.  She could never pass up a cup of coffee.  A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Good Samaritan 4th floor.  At the wishes of Gayle and family, services will not be held but thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
