Jean E. (Spangler) O'Donnell

Jean E. O’Donnell, 76, Brownstown, passed away December 3, 2017 in Johnstown, surrounded by her loving family and friends.   Born September 28, 1941 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Kearns) Spangler.  Survived by husband John O’Donnell, Jr., sons Donald J. (Holly), Springs, TX and Matthew P. (Colleen), Peoria, AZ and daughters Kristen M. Furman (Joseph) and Amanda E.  Burkett (Travis) both of Johnstown.  Also survived by grandchildren Madeleine & Liam O’Donnell, Lauren, Margie & Connor O’Donnell, Zoey Furman and Arabella & Declan Burkett.  Jean was also a foster grandmother in the Ferndale elementary school. Friends will be received from 3-8 PM  Wednesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.  Family and friends will meet for the funeral mass at 10 AM Thursday at St. Clements Church, Rev. Matthew Misurda and Rev. William Rosenbaum, celebrants.  Burial at Richland Cemetery.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses in the west wing at Arbutus Manor, Windber Hospice and Rev.
