My deepest condolences to John's family and friends. I am very grateful for the support John and Mary Margaret extended to me during the early stages of my career. John was a dear man with heart of gold and a sly wit to brighten the day. I am grateful that both were in my life. He will be missed!

I remember John as a man all neighborhood young guys looked upon as a role model. He often hired us to dig trenches and foundations so we could earn movie and gas money. He hired us at Central to help during busy times during the summers to teach us the value of hard work. As I just emailed Mary Jane, Do not feel sorry for John, the is no more sorrow, no more pain. He is feeling love as never before. John has seen the face of God.
