Patricia A (Zubrod) Koontz

 Patricia A. Koontz, 85, of Windber, formerly of Ferndale, died on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her residence.  Born on January 19, 1932 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary M. (Jones) Zubrod.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald,  and her husband Robert James Koontz in 2003.  Patricia is survived by daughters Linda, Shippensburg, and Deborah Minemyer (Terry), Johnstown, and son David (Ellen Barto), Altoona.  Also grandchildren, Kelly Mickel (Jeff), Courtney Howrylak (Jared), and Erin Bollinger (Andrew) and Neil Koontz (Erika); great grandchildren, Addison, Jaxon, William and Aurora.   She was a member of Westmont Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd, where service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, Rev.  Rob Rummell.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.
