Phyllis A. (Rehn) Jobe

Phyllis A. Jobe, 85, Southmont, died July 6, 2017 at McCullough Place.  She was born January 19, 1932 in Clyde, the daughter of the late Frank J. and Beatrice (Albaugh) Rehn.  Survived by loving husband of 62 years, R. Dean Jobe; son David Jobe and wife, Carol, Exton; daughter, Lyndee Henderson and husband, Larry, Plainfield, IL; grandchildren, Ellyn Edmonds, Ross Henderson, Lisa and Laura Jobe and 5 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sister, Marilyn McDermott, New Florence; brothers, Frank Rehn, Jr. and wife, Ila, Johnstown; Philip Rehn, Sr. and wife, Alice, Apopka, FL and several nieces and nephews.  Phyllis graduated from New Florence High School and Indiana Nursing School.  She was employed by Memorial Medical Center as a Registered Nurse and was extremely proud of being a nurse.  Phyllis was a member of Westmont Presbyterian Church.   Friends will be received from 2 PM until time of funeral service at 4 PM, Sunday, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.  Rev. Craig Miller officiating. Interment Grandview Cemetery.   Memorial donations may be made to : Casey's Safe Haven, P.O. Box 103 Elburn, IL 60119, where they  rescue, house and rehabilitate ponies from the pony ride industry.
