My dear Cousin Dean; We know that Phyllis is home in Heaven . . . at last. No more grief, no more pain, no more restless tossing. All is quiet, . . beautiful, . . . so bright ! . . everlasting joy ! at peace forever !
You and Phyllis were with me on the shore of Lake Glendale eight years ago this
month when my wife Verla's ashes were put upon those waters, at her request.

It was eight years ago this month that my dear wife Verla departed this earth, and you and Phyllis were there with me on the shores of Glendale Lake where her ashes were deposited, as she wished.
