Barbara Crichton

Crichton, Barbara McCoy, 100, formerly of Westmont, died January 18, 2021 at Laurel View Village, Davidsville.  Born February 8, 1920, daughter of the late Richard T. and Helen McCoy.  Also preceded in death by her husband John N. “Jack” Crichton in 2008; along with brothers Robert and Richard.  Survived by children Cynthia Murphy (Tom), East Amherst, NY and David Crichton (Janine/”Nina”).  Also survived by grandchildren Holly Ohtonen (Steve), Michigan and Todd Murphy (Tracey), CA; 4 great-grandchildren; and granddog Bella, with whom she and her fellow residents and staff at Laurel View immensely enjoyed weekend visits for years.  Former member of Sunnehanna Country Club where she enjoyed golfing, dining out and dancing to the big band era with Jack and their group of friends.  At Barbara’s request and due to the current Covid 19 protocol no visitation will be held.  Private service and inurnment at Grandview Cemetery.  Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to Laurel View Village Caring Fund.  The family would like to thank the staff of Laurel View Village and particularly the Arbor and Health Care staff for the wonderful care provided to our mother over the years
