Barbara E. Moyer

Barbara E. Moyer, 82, Davidsville, died December 31, 2022.  She was born October 7, 1940, in Johnstown, PA, daughter of Jacob W. and Catherine A. (Bloom) Wingard.  She was predeceased by her parents, and brother Willard “Willie” Wingard.  Survived by sons Barry R. Moyer, Davidsville; and Dennis J. Moyer, married to the former Linda Bennett, Ferndale; and grandchildren, Brandon J. Moyer married to the former Alicia McDonald, Boston, MA; and twins Jacob M., and Megan N. Moyer, Ferndale; and great grandsons, Eric Matthew Moyer and Jack Henry Moyer; also survived by siblings, Charles R. Wingard, married to the former Rose Hanna, West Hempstead, NY; and Lois A. married to David D. Fuller, Johnstown.  Barbara is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a member of St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM, the Rev. Nila Cogan, presiding.  Interment Kaufman Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 3-7 PM at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd.  Those attending the funeral service, please go directly to the church.
