Kerr, Bessie Killen, 93, born July 27, 1926, in New Florence, daughter of the late Francis Neil and Stella Charlotte (Haire) Killen. Bessie passed away on June 4, 2020, at Allegheny Lutheran Home. Bessie was preceded in death by husband, Elder Kerr, Jr.; two daughters, Nancy Jane and Linda Louise; two sisters, Emma Tomb and Charlotte Weyer, and brother, Earl Killen. Bessie is survived by two sons, Robert Elder and Raymond Kerr and two grandchildren, Melissa Cvitkovic and John Kerr. There are three great-granddaughters, Marija, Lucija and Sofija Cvitkovic. Bessie had two sisters: Dorothy Glessner, Johnstown, PA, and Anna Grace Hutchko, Columbus, GA, and brother, Richard Killen, Armagh. Bessie was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She volunteered as a Medical History Nurse for the Red Cross for over 25 years, and volunteered at the Welcome Center at the Incline Plan for about 20 years. She was a member of Indiana County DAR, Indiana, PA, and The First Presbyterian Church, Johnstown. There will be no viewing and services will be private. Burial in Grandview Cemetery, Westmont.
