Betty Ruitenberg Obituary

Betty J. Ruitenberg, Johnstown, died October 8, 2021. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Ralph and Edith (Nolte) Thomas, and also preceded in death by her husband, Neil Ruitenberg, sister, Mary Schrott, and brother Roy Thomas. She is survived by her son, Robert Ruitenberg, niece, Janie Muha, and nephews Richard Schrott and James Schrott. Betty was a devoted Steeler’s fan, and a member of Westmont Presbyterian Church. At her request, there will be no viewing, and services will be private. Interment in Grandview Cemetery.The family is being served by Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary.
