Betty Jean Moose

Betty Jean Moose, 99, Johnstown, died April 23, 2026.  Born January 31, 1927, daughter of William Earl and Pearl Binnie (Gillin) Moose.  Preceded in death by parents, sisters Lola Sue Rorabaugh, Helen Elizabeth Russell, Mabel Ann Partain, Thelma Mae Wilkinson; niece, Judith Leitenberger; and nephew, Thomas Russell.  Survived by nieces, Beverly Schmidt, Barbara Derkach, Carol O’Donnell and Jill Kelly; nephews, David Rorabaugh, Jeffrey Russell, John Partain, Bob Partain, Scott Wilkinson, Dennis Wilkinson, Paul Wilkinson; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and a wonderful friend, Sister Cathy Wright.  Betty had worked at Bali Bra, Page Bedding, Bestform and Cambria County Area Agency on Aging.  She was a member of 2nd Presbyterian Church.  She loved doing crafts, word search puzzles and was known as a great cook.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to 2nd Presbyterian Church in honor of Betty.  Graveside service will be held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery at 11 AM on Thursday, April 30, Rev. Art Moffat officiant.
