Billy Dan March

March, Billy Dan, 67, Johnstown, died December 26, 2019.  Born March 28, 1952, in Johnstown, son of the late Bishop Charles Alex James and Leola (Hamilton) March.  Also preceded in death by brothers, John Philip, Jerry and Rev. Richard March, Johnstown.  Survived by four brothers, Sgt. Robert March (Lila), Pittsburgh; Dr. Joseph Louis (Sandra) March, Maryland; Bishop David (Angela) March and Mark March, all of Johnstown; sisters, Ola C. (Dan) Jones, Carlisle; Elizabeth March-Robinson, Ohio; and Marlene, widow of Doug Frazier, Georgia.  Billy attended Johnstown High School, graduated from The Electrician School of Carlisle, PA, and was a US Army Veteran.  Billy worked at Penelec.  Many thanks to Ursuline staff member, Debbie Mitchell, and Atrium staff members.  Billy was a faithful member of the Undenominational House of God Church since 1958, where he was a choir member and also a singer with The March Singers Quartette.  Friends will be received on Sunday 5 – 7:30 pm at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc.  Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Undenominational Church of God, 213 Hickory St., Johnstown, Bishop David March officiating.  Interment Benshoff Hill where military honors will be held by Conemaugh Valley Detachment Marine Corps League.
