Blanche Jane (Williams) Reighard

Blanche Jane “GG” Reighard, 94, Johnstown, passed away December 21, 2018, in Johnstown.  She was born June 21, 1924, in Johnstown, daughter of late Harry and Margaret (Seth) Williams; also predeceased by husband George “Rick” Reighard in 1994; predeceased by brothers, Jackie and Wid a; sisters, Sis Williams and Dory Ribblett and great grandson Nyanko. Blanche is survived by her son Robert C. Reighard, of Chicago, IL; Luray A. and husband Pat Forosisky, and Deborah M. and husband Joseph Nyanko both of Johnstown; Blanche was a devoted grandmother to Joseph D. Nyanko and his wife Patti; and Daniel A. Nyanko; she is also loving great grandmother to six beautiful great-granddaughters; Paige, Hannah, Lindsay, Allison, Serena and Lilly.  She was a member of the American Legion #294, Ladies Auxiliary.  Blanche was the last of her generation.  She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mercy.  Friends will be received Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. Interment Forest Lawn.  The family would like to thank the staff at Laurelwood, Amber Springs, and Grane Hospice for their loving care.
