Obituary
Bradley D. Schmid, 69, Johnstown, passed away September 6, 2023 at the “cabin”. He was born November 21, 1953 in Johnstown, son of Julius and Joyce Schmid. Preceded in death by father, grandparents Martha and Otto Schmid; Francis and Helen Hornauer; and special aunt Edna Varner. Survived by mother, wife Joann Eritano; daughter Jackie and Lil Jace and children Derric and Kellie Schmid; Also survived by brother Bryan Schmid and his children Zack and Zane; sister Sandi Crespi (Frank) and their daughter Jordan; brother Randy, his wife Dominika and their son Jan. Also, his special “forever” friends, Fred and Dorothy McMullen. He retired from Penelec after 38 years of service, then was employed by American Electrical Testing Co., Allentown for 9 years. Brad enjoyed being at the cabin and spending time with his family and traveling. Friends will be received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd. on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service at 11, Rev. David Karlberg officiating.
