Carol V. Prescott

Prescott, Carol V., 80, Johnstown, died October 27, 2019.  Born July 16, 1939 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Wilbur and Mary Ellen (Smith) Friant.  Married to the late Jack R. Prescott, who died in 2003.  Also preceded in death by daughter Jane Ellen, sons Scott Douglas and Jack Robert.  Survived by daughter Shari Rogers (David), beloved granddaughter Sarah Marie, brother Joseph Friant, sisters Marlene Souders, Mechanicsburg, and Debbie Clemenson, Shortsville, NY, along with several nieces and nephews.  Carol was a member of Westmont Church of the Brethren and a 25 year employee of the former Hello Shop in the Westwood Plaza.  She was an avid reader and lover of animals.  At Carol’s request services will be private.
