Carolyn G. King, 89, Johnstown, died November 5, 2020. Born August 28, 1931, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Theodore R. and Peachie B. (Monroe) Miller Sr., also preceded in death by her husband, Norman R. King, Sr, sisters, Pearl Miller, Marilyn Faison, Sarafine Cade, and Renee Triplin and brothers, Theodore Miller Jr., Robert Miller, Murn Miller and Quintin Miller. Carolyn is survived by sons Norman, Jr., Johnstown; Theodore, Johnstown; Kevin, Ohio; Rodney, York; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. She was a member of 1st Cambria AME Zion Church, where she was a Deaconess, Steward, and member of the Kitchen Club. She was also a volunteer in Pastoral Care at Lee Hospital and a volunteer at Conemaugh Hospice. Private services were held, with interment at Grandview Cemetery. Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, is in charge of arrangements.
