Caryl A. Roach, 77, Davidsville, died August 2, 2020. She was born, November 7, 1942, in Johnstown, daughter of the late George and Alice (Harper) Rinehart. She is survived by her loving husband, J. Kent Roach, whom she wed, July 22, 1967, and daughters, Allison Miller (Tim), Ellicott City, MD; Jennifer Haughie (Dennis), Chambersburg; and Melissa Davis, Johnstown. Grandchildren, Hannah and Emma Miller, Gabriel Haughie, and Zachary, Trent and Lukas Davis. She was a member of O.E.S., where she was a Past Matron, and District Deputy Grand Matron. She retired as a teacher at Ferndale School District, and for more than 50 years, was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-7 PM, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., where a private service will be held, the Rev. Alice Tondora officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Lincoln St., Johnstown, or Windber Hospice.
