Charles E. Sprague

Charles E. Sprague, 79, Johnstown, died February 15, 2022 at his residence.  Born November 11, 1942 in Johnstown, son of Thomas and Minnie (Deitke) Sprague.  Preceded in death by parents, sons Mark & Daniel and brother Jimmy.  Survived by loving wife of 54 years, the former Frances Lepus; son Matthew; brothers Thomas, Raymond and Larry, and sisters Donna Sprague and Dorothy Blair.  A veteran of the US Army and retired from the Bethlehem Steel Bar, Rod & Wire Mill.  A member of the Church of the Visitation of the BVM where funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday, Rev. John Slovikovski officiating.  Friends will be received from 4-6:30 PM Thursday at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.
