Obituary

MacMurdo, Charlotte, 89, Johnstown, died December 5, 2022.  Born November 23, 1933 in Johnstown, daughter of Paul and Catherine (Bartok) Erdley.  Preceded in death by parents and husband James in 2015.  Survived by son James (Stacey); grandchildren Adam; Katelyn; Jenna.  Also surviving are her brother-in-law Robert MacMurdo, Sr. (Amy Anderson), and their children, Robert, Jr. (Amy), and their son Benjamin; Amy Miller (Mike) and sons Nate (Lydia) and Jake; and Michael (Sue); along with sister Helen Law and niece Nancy Sickel (Bruce); Courtney and Tyler.  In the 1960’s Charlotte was employed at Bethlehem Steel Corporation as an executive secretary.  She also worked for many years at Law’s Jewelry until her retirement in 1993.  She enjoyed and treasured the many friendships she made at Graystone Apartments in the past few years.  Her family is grateful for the compassionate care she received at Richland Woods and from the staff at Windber Hospice.  Friends will be received from 10-11 AM at Westmont United Methodist Church where funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Rev. John Mize officiating.  Entombment Grandview Mausoleum.
