Darlene Jane Balko

Darlene Jane Balko, 66, Ferndale, died April 9, 2020.  She was born May 2, 1953, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (Putt) Balko.  She was preceded in death by her mother, who she cared for, only 12 days prior to her passing.  She is survived by her brothers, John Michael Balko, Randy L. Balko, and Mark D. Balko, all of Texas.  Most of her career was spent working at Penelec, then as a legal secretary.  Darlene was a member of Moxham Lutheran Church.  Services will be private with the Rev. Phyllis Diamond officiating, with interment following in Grandview Cemetery.
