Dave loved all animals and was conservative, quick witted, sarcastic, selfless, hardworking, honest, empathetic, and very personable. His coined phrases {“Dave-isms”} and inherent acidity and prudence inspired (or annoyed) many! Dave enjoyed watching reruns of M*A*S*H, All in the Family, and The Jeffersons. He took pleasure in a cold “Natty Light”, a cigarette, and country music artists: Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Jamey Johnson & Larry McCray, to name a few. He suffered in silence & wanted to tell his family and friends, “SEE YA!” Arrangements are being made by Thomas L. Dixon: Picking Treece Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown, PA. Dave will be buried alongside his beloved mother in Conneaut, OH. In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, memorial donations can be made via www.CCHSNetwork.org in the names of Dave’s great nephews, Dylan & Bryce Gordon, who suffer daily from this rare disease.
