At 69 years old, Diana Ling moved on to be with her Lord and Savior, while at home in Johnstown, PA under the care of Jessica with Windber Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rosemary Brant. Diana was a 1970 graduate of Westmont High School and spent 41 years caring for patients as a nurse at Mercy & Conemaugh hospitals. Diana loved to travel and visit historic locations and enjoyed the beach, as well as her daily walks with her sister Suzanne. Everyone who knew Diana, would tell you what a kind, humble, hardworking woman she was, which she passed on to her son and others. She also loved animals of all kinds, whether it was the many cats or dogs she had, or the deer that would frequent her backyard.
Diana is survived by her son, Richard Ling (Angela), Damon, TX; her sisters Linda Byers (Bruce), Greenville, SC; Suzanne Vedock (Edward), Johnstown, PA; and Cynthia Ralph, Fountain Hills, AZ. Also survived by her grandchildren Ricky Lerma and Natalie Lerma, and great-grandson Coleman Lerma and her nieces and nephews, Aaron & Brandon Vedock, Jamie Meachum (John), Emily Pitts (Jonathan), and R. Brant Ralph. She is also survived by her long-time companion Robert Sieg.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
