Dolores Mae Hineline, 89, Johnstown, died January 13, 2022. Born August 2, 1932 in Phillipsburg, daughter of the late James B. and Nathalie E. (Ludwig) Smith. Also preceded in death by her first husband James H. McDowell and second husband Jacob Hineline; son Frederick C. McDowell; son-in-law Roland Stump, brother-in-law Tony Diniz; and great grandson Shawn David Oaks. Survived by sons James (Phyllis) McDowell, Heartland, TX; Howard (Diane) McDowell, Johnstown; daughter Paula Stump, Easton, PA ; daughter-in-law Elizabeth McDowell, Manassas, VA; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Carolyn Diniz, Lake Forest, CA; former daughter-in-law Marcia McDowell, Windber; nephew, nieces, a few cousins, along with her very special grand-doggy Peanut. Before her retirement, Dolores was an executive secretary for the federal government. She was previously a member of the former Christ United Methodist Church, and currently a member of Franklin St. United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd. Monday from 4-7 and from 11:00 until the time of services at noon Tuesday, Rev. Terry Knipple officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
