Donald L. Brocious

Donald L. Brocious, 90, Johnstown, died December 25, 2025.  He was born September 17, 1935, in Timblin, Jefferson County, son of the late Osmer and Twila (Dinger) Brocious.  Also preceded in death by siblings, Helen, Velma, Elwood, Eugene, Elda, Dorothy and Peggy.  Survived by loving wife, the former Beverly Schullery, son Jeffrey, married to Tracey Hagerich and Stacey, married to Robert Krall; grandchildren Tyler, Joppotowne, MD, Luke (Carmela), Annapolos, MD, Adam, Joppotowne, MD, Courtney Krall and Carissa Krall, both of Johnstown; and a great-grandchild arriving in January.  Also surviving are siblings Ruby Smith, Lois Stello, Margie Wolfgang, along with sister-in-law Barb Penrod (Wally) and their son Josh.  Don served in the Army, and retired as a service technician with NCR, and was a member of First Lutheran Church.  More than anything Don enjoyed family, especially his grandchildren, travelling, working in his yard and woodworking.  Services will be private at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Christy Harford officiating.  Entombment Grandview Mausoleum.
