Doris (Bender) Rusin

Doris Rusin, 88, died peacefully April 9th, 2018 in Sarasota, Florida.  Born April 23rd, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Raymond & Rachel (McDivitt) Bender.  Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 2004.  Survived by daughter Judy (Stan) Campkin, Calgary, AB, Canada; son John (Nancy), Conifer, CO; daughters Lora (Art) Quirk, Golden, CO and Amy (Mark) Marshall, Venice, FL.  Survived by brother William Bender, Windber, PA and 6 grandchildren Joe, Lisa, Sara, Colleen, Shannon and Casey.  Doris was a member of Incarnation Church, Sarasota and PA Association of Retired Service Employees.  She was formerly employed by PA Dept. of Welfare.  Friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.  Funeral service will be held at 10:30  AM Saturday at St. Benedict Church, 2310 Bedford St.  Interment following mass at Grandview Cemetery.   Arrangements by Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc.
