Eileen McGinnis

McGinnis, Eileen M., 83, died January 15, 2021 at Meadowview Nursing Care Center after a long battle with dementia.  Born August 22, 1937 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late John and Helen Cannon.  Also preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Jesse, who died in 1986; infant son Randy James, who died in 1970; sisters Helen McGovern, Mary Darrah, Rita Tinitus, Lorraine Nitowski and twin brother John Cannon, Jr.  Survived by son Kevin, married to the former Marlene Bopp, Elton; daughter Vivian married to Sam Fetterman, Pickerington, OH; and son Jamey married to the former Denise Siry, Renfrew, PA; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Eileen was a devoted member of the Roxbury Church of the Brethren and served as custodian for several years.  She enjoyed spending time with family, reading Joel Osteen, bible study and crocheting.  At her request, services will be private, Rev. James Braunns officiating.  Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
