Erin Kathryn Reed

Erin Kathryn Reed, 41, Johnstown, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 4, 2025.  She was born on September 22, 1983 in Johnstown, daughter of Thomas and Ardyth (Rankin) Reed.  Preceded in death by grandparents, Walter and June (Heitzenrater) Rankin and Robert and Matilda (Stewart) Reed.  Survived by parents, sister Angelia Fair; Anita Schilling (Richard); and Terri Koharchik along with several nieces and nephews.  Erin was a graduate of Penn Highlands Community College.  Her best friend and fur baby, Symba, who will surely miss her.  Friends and family will be received Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd.  A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church in Nanty Glo, PA, Pastor Geno Bartoletti officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Erin to The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh Foundation at http://www.amazingkids.org
