Ethel M. Oyler

Oyler, Ethel M., 93, Johnstown, died January 5, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on December 2, 1927 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Pheasant) Whitfield, also preceded in death by loving husband Robert Oyler in 2018, and brother Eugene Whitfield.  Survived by son Robert Lee Oyler and his wife Gail, Harrisburg; daughter Susan G. McNeil, Johnstown; grandchildren Jason E. Oyler, Danielle E. Tavarez, Erin L. Oyler, Joseph R. McNeil, III and Bryan R. McNeil; great grandchildren Aidan, Ashlyn, Bekah, Micah, Isaiah, Selah, Meleah, Damian, Nylah, Anika, Liliana and Daylen.  She is also survived by sisters-in-law Sarah Whitfield and Mary Lou Oyler, along with several nieces and nephews.  Ethel was formerly employed as a clerk at Sani-Dairy.  She was a member of Homestead Ave. United Methodist Church along with Order of the Eastern Star.  At her request, there will be a private family visitation and service, Rev. Carol Hickman officiating. Interment Grandview Cemetery. Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc. is serving the family.  The family would like to thank their friends and extended family for all of their expressions of sympathies and condolences.
