Francinea "Frankie" Pridgen

Francinea “Frankie” Pridgen passed away at home May 22nd, 2021 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.  She was born July 1st, 1949 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Lonnie and Lucille (Jones) Bush. She is survived by her husband Edward Pridgen Sr, sons; Jamie Mickens, Colie (CJ) Mickens. Stepchildren; Cassandra Pridgen, Edward Pridgen Jr., Hannah Anderson, Mickey Mickens, and Kyle Mickens. She is preceded in death by sisters Monette Bush and Demarise Montanez. Survivors also include her siblings John Bush, Lizzie Mae Bush, Yvonne Roebuck, Patricia Bush, Lonnie Bush Junior, Brenda Joyce Bush, Mary King and Vera Mae Spangler.  Francinea Pridgen also leaves behind an abundance of family members including; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Francinea was a member of the St. James Missionary Baptist Church. There she was a part of the choir and kitchen ministry. She spent most of her time taking care of others; she was employed by Cambria Care as a nurse’s aide. Also founded the ‘Pridgen Family Daycare’. Friends will be received on June 9, 2021, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church from 10AM until the time of servce at 11AM, Rev. Dr. Ralph E. Johnson, officiating.
