Grace I. Gavin

Gavin, Grace I., 87, Johnstown, died December 2, 2020.  Born November 1, 1933 in Poughkeepsie, NY, daughter of the late Sherwood and Mary (Bell) Weyant.  Also preceded in death by first husband, Louis Schellhammer in 1969 and second husband, Bill Gavin in 1999; sisters Gladys, Marie and Marian. Survived by daughter Diane Griffin (Robert), son Terry Schellhammer (Rose Ann), and daughter Sharon Guillarmod & Larry Bunk; grandchildren Lisa, David & fiancé Sandy, Lindy & Greg, Justin, Kristy, Kelly & Donnie.  Also great grandchildren Laken & Davey; Madeline, Gabby & Olivia; Caleb, Brooke , Emmy,  Gavin, Landan, Gregory, Kaitlyn, Abby. She was formerly employed at the Penn Traffic cafeteria, Glosser Bros. grocery, and McQuaide’s.  Grace was a former member of Memorial Baptist Church.  The family would like to thank LaurelWood Amber Springs for their kindness and good care.  Services will be private with interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
