Obituary

Harriet J. Repasky, 97, Johnstown, died June 16, 2022.  She was born February 16, 1925, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Harry and Geneva (McFeaters) McVicker, also predeceased by husband Nicholas J. Repasky, son Randy Sean Simmons, and sister Hannah Ivis Nesbitt.  Survived by son Jeffrey B. Simmons (Carole), Brewerton, NY; grandsons, Michael Simmons and David Simmons, Sr., and great-grandchildren Jessica Simmons and David Simmons, Jr.; also nephews Charles (Tedde) Nesbitt and Christopher (Paulette) Nesbitt.  Harriet worked as a stenographer, then as an executive secretary at Bethlehem Steel.  She was a member of the DAR, and a longstanding member of Franklin St. United Methodist Church.  At her request there will be no viewing, but friends will be received on Tuesday, from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., Rev. Terry Knipple officiating, Entombment will follow at Grandview Mausoleum.
