Jacky W. Triplin, Sr., 71, sadly left us on March 6, 2023. Born November 13, 1951, in Johnstown, PA., son of the late John Otis Triplin, Sr., and Margaret (Jones) Triplin. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Carrie Louise Triplin, brothers, James W. Triplin, Sr. (late Patricia Triplin), Robert L. Triplin, Sr., and Charles W. Triplin. Survived by his children, Jacquelyn Bell (Jake) and Jacky W. Triplin, Jr. (Caressa), siblings, John O. Triplin, Jr., Betty Jean Aaron (late William Aaron) and Clarence Pete Triplin (Loretta). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Dominic Scott, DeOndre Triplin, Tahjir Triplin, Olivia Triplin, Noelle Bell and Jacky W. Triplin, III, 2 great-grandchildren: Xaiver K. Triplin and Legend Triplin as well as an abundance of nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was also blessed to have a multitude of special friends. If you felt you were his close friend, you were. He made everyone feel so special.
A graduate of the Conemaugh Valley School District, served in the United States Marine Corp., and retired from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC. Jack was a member of Flood City Lodge #371. He was also an avid car collector, especially the love of his corvette(s). He was known for his great sense of humor and his contagious laughter.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 4PM, until the funeral services at 6PM at Picking Treece Bennett Funeral Home, 921 Menoher Blvd., Reverend Antoinette Allen, Officiating.
