Clark, Jacqueline Mae, 93, Westmont, went to be with our Lord June 1, 2021. Born August 23, 1927 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Richard and Mae Barnhart. Preceded in death by loving husband H. Jay Clark and granddaughter Amy. Survived by sons Richard W.; Randall J., married to former Mary Cook, all of Johnstown; and Ronald Lee, Gilbert, Arizona. Also surviving are grandchildren Breanne, William, Christopher, Matthew, Kimberely, Taylor, and Andrew, along with great-grandchildren Miah, Auri, Linkin, Paxton and Carissa. Also survived by brother-in-law Richard and his wife Patricia and sister-in-law Peggy, all formerly of Johnstown and numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie loved her family and was a genuinely kind and thoughtful person to all. She enjoyed a long fruitful life of nearly 94 years in the Johnstown area and often said that she couldn’t imagine living anywhere else! She was an avid reader and also enjoyed watching classic movies from the 30’s and 40’s. She often wrote editorials to the Tribune Democrat voicing her opinions regarding her political and religious beliefs. Jackie was also a longtime contributor to the Christian Broadcasting Network and many other local charities. She was a longstanding member of the Oakland United Methodist church and also attended services at the Bridge to Life church in Johnstown. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at McCullough Place for their assisted living care and accommodations to Jackie, having resided there since October of 2015.
