Janet Lee Clark

Janet Clark, 95, Johnstown, died June 12, 2026 at Windber Hospice.   She was born October 7, 1930, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Henry and M. Mae (Gary) Greiner, and also preceded in death by her husband William Henry Clark, in 1994.   She is survived by 4 cousins.  Being from a very small family, Janet had been "adopted" by the family of her dear friend, Pat Betts. Janet retired as a secretary at Westinghouse Electric, after 42 years.  She was an active member of 1st Presbyterian Church since 1943, where she sang in the choir, and was a member of the former Lamplighters Sunday School Class.  She was a 1948 graduate of Ferndale High School and enjoyed travelling and playing cards.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, 921 Menoher Blvd., from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM, Rev. Danielle Kendig officiating.  Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
