Jerry Lee Bowers, 66, Johnstown, In the wee hours of the morning of August 31, the eldest brother of 13, Jerry Bowers, breathed his last earthly breath and took his first breath of celestial air. Jerry was a quiet man, avoiding gossip and drama. Instead, he focused on his life, wife, Darlene, and two children, Melissa and Jeff. In time, this role expanded to include his son-in-law, Patrick, and his daughter-in-law, Robyn. His joy was increased with the addition of his “grands”, Elisa, Brenton, Ethan and Zoey, and the “great-grands”. He may have lost his year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer, but he won the war with a victory over death and the grave when he gave his life to Jesus! He will be missed beyond measure by those of us who loved him best on this earth. Service arrangements are private.
