Julie A. Muha

Julie passed away peacefully on ­­­­­­­March 25, 2024.  She was born September 1, 1966, daughter of the late Matt & Joan “Tootie” Kelly. Survived by daughter Melanie Grace Muha (Jimmy) and siblings, Chris Havrilak (Rich), Lititz, PA, Tim, Raleigh NC, Paula Gojmerac (Chris) Johnstown, and Jamie Weaver (BJ) of Windber. Also survived by niece Elyse Cameron (Justin, Rylee, & Hoyt), Nathan Havrilak (Kaitlyn & Oliver), and Wyatt Weaver.  Julie’s journey was long and arduous over the last 29 years and her strength was miraculous until the end.  Her parents, brother Tim, sisters Paula & Jamie, and beloved niece Elyse were her devoted caregivers.  Together, the Kelly family’s strength got them through each day for our beloved Julie Ann. Before Julie’s illness she worked for the Johnstown Police Department. Family would like to thank the staff at Maple Winds in Portage for the care, dignity, and respect they showed our sister over the past three years. Friends will be received on Thursday, March 28th at Picking-Treece-Bennet Mortuary located on Menoher Blvd., Johnstown starting at 4 p.m. with a brief service at 6:30 p.m.
